This may have been lost in the maze of postings way down the list. In case you didn't see it, I'm posting it again. I agree with t.j. - you really have to watch for those hidden prices. When talking prices with the dealer(s), it's helpful to talk "out the door" price (as they will add everything they can). Those prices seem a bit high.

Just for point of reference from So. California: I bought my new '99 Savage a couple of months ago for $4,050/US "out the door" (includes tax, title, set-up, etc.)...don't be afraid to *negotiate* with the dealers (it's just like cars).

I saw several used ones ('96 - '98) with only around 600 miles on them that were going for $2,500 - $2,900/US. These were posted in "traderonline.com" and "recycler.com" if they're up in your area and you want to check them out. Good
